TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
