Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that matters. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.

Everything in one place, with the full fee table, here withdrawal policies, tab trade and more info regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
