What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.
Everything in one place, with regulation, withdrawals, pricing, more info and more info the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
