Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that coverage is not narrow.

Platforms

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The speed is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.

Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

Here is the thing that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. But inform your assessment.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.

The full review, with regulation, withdrawals, pricing, here and the check here bonus more info terms, is at Trade The Day.
