Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It does factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
